Alice McInerney
WRITER
The BBC brought Londoner
Alice McInerney (“Heritage
and Hot Spots,” page 50)
to Beijing in 2008, and she’s
been based in China ever since,
working initially as fashion
editor for Time Out, and as a
contributing fashion and travel
writer for publications including
Wallpaper, AnOther Magazine,
NOWNESS and LUXE City
Guides. After selling her interest
in her first fashion retail business
showcasing Chinese designers,
she is now launching the B2B
platform ANYWEARSTYLE.COM,
helping international brands
connect with Chinese retailers.
You can find her on the back of
her husband Greg’s motorbike
exploring Beijing, especially its
historic alleys where she recently
rescued a puppy, Wilfred. While
a Beijinger through and through,
she always loves a trip to Hong
Kong’s bright lights.
Craig Frazier
ILLUSTRATOR
Craig Frazier (“The Lightest
Trip,” page 46) is an illustrating
designer with a distinguished
career since 1978. His broad
skill set as a communicator has
contributed to the development
of his distinctive and highly
recognizable style. An illustrator
for corporate clients and
publications worldwide, Frazier
has also created seven U.S.
postage stamps, including
the 2006 “Love” stamp. He
has published a 176-page
monograph, “The Illustrated
Voice,” and is also the author
and illustrator of numerous
children’s books.
Jaimie Schoen
WRITER
Jaimie Schoen (“Unstoppable
Hops,” page 64) is a Colorado-based freelance writer and
editor with a passion for
lifestyle content. While most of
her work focuses on weddings
(she was the real weddings
editor for Brides and is now a
regular contributor), relocating
from New York City to the
mountains has given her the
opportunity to explore life
beyond the aisle. She’s not a
beer geek (yet), but is a local
beer convert with a newfound
love for taprooms, thanks to
Denver’s craft brewers.
