The Joffrey Ballet closes its season with the U. S.
premiere of Krzysztof Pastor’s Romeo & Juliet,
running April 30 – May 11, 2014, at the historic
Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. This thrilling
production is Shakespeare’s masterpiece in a
modern retelling that spans three eras of the
20th century. The story, as timeless as love
itself, is performed against a striking multimedia
backdrop and is set to Sergei Prokofiev’s
formidable dramatic score. Bravura dancing
and epic storytelling unite in this powerful
rendering of the tragic love story. For additional
