GAME, SET, MATCH IN MIAMI
The JW MARRIOTT MARQUIS MIAMI celebrated the Miami Open with
its fifth annual Match Point Passion event, an exclusive VIP evening
with top-ranked tennis players in partnership with MIAMI Modern
Luxury magazine and Tennis Channel. The event has grown to be one
of the most exclusive and coveted invitation-only player events of the
tournament. On the hotel’s 19th-floor indoor tennis court, more than
250 guests enjoyed cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres while enjoying
entertainment from popular DJ Michael Sarysz and a live percussionist. Pro players in attendance—including Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka,
David Ferrer, Nicolás Almagro, Sara Errani, Victoria Azarenka, Daniela
Hantuchová, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Sabine Lisicki—all snapped
photos and signed tennis balls for fans throughout the evening.
